ARIZONA - CANVA FOR EDUCATION CONFERENCE
As you may have heard, Canva is hosting the first ever statewide Canva for Education here in Chandler, Arizona on September 14 at Basha High School and we’d love for you to be there! This event is a wonderful opportunity for educators to come together, share ideas, and explore the endless possibilities that Canva brings to the classroom.
Registration and space for the event are limited. The registration link and more information can be found on the site linked below. Once registered you will receive an email either confirming your registration or letting you know you've been added to the waitlist beginning on August 19th and continuing as requests are submitted.

Calling all Arizona educators, we need you!
We are so excited to host the first ever statewide Canva conference to be held in Chandler, Arizona on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
We are looking for passionate educators in the state of Arizona to submit session proposals that showcase how you’re using Canva to inspire and engage students. Whether it’s innovative lesson materials, creative projects, or unique ways to integrate Canva into the curriculum, we’d love to hear from you.

ARIZONA - CANVA FOR EDUCATION CONFERENCE: STUDENT DESIGN CHALLENGE
Are you ready to show off your students' creativity and tech skills? We’re excited to announce the Digital Citizenship Canva Design Contest! This is your students chance to create an amazing design using Canva that showcases what it means to be a responsible digital citizen.
Elementary (K-5)
Create a poster reminding everyone to be kind online!
Use bright colors, friendly characters, and simple slogans to promote kindness in the digital world.
Middle School (6-8)
Create a comic strip showcasing responsible digital citizenship.
Tell a story about how to be a good digital citizen, covering topics like online safety, privacy, and appropriate online behavior.
High School (9-12)
Develop a social media campaign promoting healthy online habits.
Design a series of social media posts (e.g., Instagram, Twitter) that raise awareness about important digital citizenship topics like screen time management, digital footprint, and online etiquette.
How to Enter:
Create: Using Canva create a design based on the topic for your grade level below.
Submit: Students will sumbit their project online here.
Win: The top 5 designs for each grade band will be showcased at the Canva for Education Arizona Conference on September 14th and then judged for the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winners will be invited to present their designs at the AzTEA Fall Conference on October 26th.
